Product Information

Known for a number of strategy games, Koei brings Heir of Zendor: The Legend and The Land to the Sega Saturn. Zendor is a planet containing so many anti-gravity ores that even the continents float. With the ore the people built many airships that led to a great deal of commerce. Money was being made by many but then pirates showed up and started stealing from the traders. After the pirates formed an organization called The Guild, the governments created the Alliance of City-States to help combat the problem. <br><br>Eventually, instead of keeping the pirates at bay, the governments began fighting amongst themselves for control of the skies. Wars erupted between all of the major cities and an end did not appear to be in sight. One day, the battleships of the continent Terra Sancta suddenly appeared and put an end to the war by attacking both allies and enemies. Life and property loss was high leaving the people in despair. The continents were damaged severely leaving little ability for them to store fresh water. <br><br>Terra Sancta was now the only continent with significant water resources. With the same battleships that destroyed the other continents, Terra Sancta was kept under guard. Despite the guard however, one man was able to get through and take control of the water. He controlled the water with the help of five disciples known as the Five Kings. As the other continents' populations grew the need for water became greater. Soon, rebellion had occurred and a full-scale war erupted between the people and Alliance of City-States.<br><br>You play the part of the Prince of Zendor, commander of the Zendorian Squadron. With the help of your advisors Gotch and Azuma, and your generals Valice and Rhanda, your goal is to defeat the Five Kings. Heir of Zendor is broken down into stages with each stage having its own objective. Players will need to deploy ships, arm them, and command their units in battle.
