The slots to hold the nuts in place allow the nut to slide further in meaning if you don’t have the light flat when installing the nuts run further in, so the screw can’t go in, or fall out if you over correct a little bit. Bit extra on the moulding would make life far easier. Also very light weight wires, enough for the current draw, but can have issues if using a quality pre-made loom.
