The thumb break wasn’t designed for the strap to be closed with the hammer cocked back. News flash, no one carries a 1911 with the hammer down, that is how you shoot yourself in the leg. Additionally, the button on the thumb break will not snap open when the holster is on your waist. This holster will get you killed. My 11$ holster is more functional than this.
