Seller Notes: “This antique Chinese blue silk damask weave fruit cheongsam qipao dress robe dates from the late ... “This antique Chinese blue silk damask weave fruit cheongsam qipao dress robe dates from the late 19th century during the Qing Dynasty. It is made of an iridescent pale sky blue color silk damask weave fabric with a woven auspicious fruit designs of peaches, pomegranates, grapes, Buddha's hand representing happiness, longevity, good fortune and fertility. This women's cheongsam qipao style dress robe is a below the knee length, with long full sleeves, ice blue, black silk border trim edging, a front side opening with decorative pankou knotted button toggle closures set with silver glass flowers, mandarin collar, inside flap opening with pocket hidden underneath and is unlined. The dress measures 37 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 40 inch waist, 40 inch hips, 18 inch long sleeves and a 12 inch neck. It is in good as-is condition, with a scattering of faint foxing age spot stains, a few tiny frayed holes, fraying along the black trim edging the bottom hemline and a red stain on the bac”
