It is made of a brown wool felt fabric with brown silk grosgrain ribbon pleated wired flowers, leaves decorating the top front and a sheer brown dotted net veil covering. This stylish women's halo hat has a tall rounded upturned brim framing the face, a fitted tear drop shaped cap style coming to a point at the back, an elastic band strap, hair comb underneath to secure to the head along with a matching fabric tipped hatpin, a veiled face covering, unlined and has a "Maison Mendessolle" label sewn inside. The hat measures 9 by 9 inches and is in good condition, with only a few small frayed holes in the net veil. This is truly a wonderful piece of millinery wearable art.”
