It crackles really bad at various levels, highly inconsistent volume level unless volume control is set to max. For example, even when volume control is all the way down, sometimes volume is still very well audible. The only way it sounds good is at max level, and it's sufficiently loud, but I rarely actually need it that loud. I'm going to remove it from the board. Idk if it's meant to be with other components to fix audio issues, but im not playing those games.
