It is made of a black silk, velvet fabrics with a sheer net sequin beaded overlay, jet beadwork and feather trimmings on the top. This beautiful beaded black evening bonnet has a small petite half hat style, with fancy embellished details, a velvet padded brim surrounding the face, silk ribbon ties for securing under the chin and is fully lined in a black cotton fabric inside. The bonnet measures 7 by 6 1/2 inches and is in good condition, with only some slight wear to the velvet nap, tiny frays on the silk ribbon tie and a few loose missing sequins (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana millinery wearable art.”
