It came with a fine carbon coating and primed to just load & smoke!
Lesson, I read a bunch of reviews and saw Y.T. videos. All this ruckus about breaking in a new pipe and putting honey in there & all this stuff. Listen, just keep it simple - buy some fine Lane bulk pipe tobacco & put it in ur pipe, smoke it slow & low!
