The ring and stone are lovely but one thing I didn’t realize based on the pictures is that this stone is set exceptionally high—probably twice as high as it needs to be. It makes the ring look like it’s trying too hard to seem like a bigger stone—just unfortunate because it is lovely and I’m sure the height helps it to sparkle. If you are looking for height to clear a big chunky band, it would pair well with that. But with more dainty band it sticks out. I’ll keep it and pair it differently.
