Lee Buddy was born in Grenada and came to the United States as a college student. He completed a bachelor's degree in history from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, went on to earn graduate degrees in history and education from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and earned a doctorate in education from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY). A few years ago, I decided to make God a priority and began reading the Bible. Unexpectedly, I became captivated by its power and what God wanted to do in my life. It became a part of my daily routine, and within a relatively short time, the Lord led me to discover his extravagant grace as he taught me how to live as an overcomer. How to Be an Overcomer is about God's love and his life-changing power in my life. I am immeasurably blessed by His presence, along with the desire to read and obey His word, the Bible. Through the reading of this sacred book, I have studied the stories of individuals who left enormous footprints in the records of human history. Their lives are incredible testimonies of what God can do for everyone. This book, therefore, is about what God has taught me from reading the Bible, and is written to help each reader experience the superlative life that only Jesus offers.
