- 2***c (1)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseMy experience was not a positive one. attempted to purchase a hockey card which fell through. this was no problem, as it was a normal process of an offer not being accepted. a few days later, I receive an offer to purchase the card at a price lower than what I originally offered. I purchased it and paid within minutes. shortly after, the seller cancelled and said that there was a $19 mistake by eBay. this was quite puzzling and upsetting. no effort made to resolve. be aware!Reply from: sports_cards_fans- Feedback replied by seller sports_cards_fans.- Feedback replied by seller sports_cards_fans.eBay sent an automatic offer even though we had disabled the option the week before. The error wasn't $19, but rather $420. Since the item was listed at $1,400, eBay sent an offer of $980. Furthermore, since the seller had never purchased on eBay, we couldn't agree to sell him an item for more than $1,000 and risk fraud.
