I used a USD visa card to make the purchase. We were surprised to see a charge of $632.69 USD on the credit card, $42.25USD more than expected. It seems that the $590.44USD was converted to $883.04 CAD at the time of charge. Then, our bank charged us to convert it back to USD on our Credit Card, costing us $42.25 due to the 2 conversions. Can you explain?
