This was ordered for a 1972 grand prix, when I went to put it in I discovered it's shorter than the Grand Prix tank by about 8 inches so the straps that hold it are to long and the fuel neck is about 8 inches away from the original spot. Therefore even if I buy the shorter hold straps (that would be for chevelle tank) I'll have to add onto the fill neck just to put gas in. Btw again I ordered this because it said it fit a 1972 Grand Prix.
