They had assembled the iitem and then disassembled it for shipping and so they were familiar with my concerns. This model of transfer lift chair apparently does not come with "sleeve" or bracket for the lift shaft. The shipping was very fast, which was one of the things I was looking for. Packaging was adequate although this was a heavy item and the box had a few small holes.
