I am quite amazed at the quality of this cable, especially at the price! It does indeed appear to be silver plate, with the most excellent silver (?), locking RCA's! I'm just listening to some CD's now, and I am not aware of any short-comings whatsoever, plus it's very well constructed with premium parts! A bargain in my opinion... :)
