It works great with the gameboy player and it also works well for gamecube games. However, there is nothing you can do if you need the c-stick in a gamecube game. This controller doesn't have a button for that. The cord is longer than some other controllers, and is made of high quality materials. If you love the feel of the original SNES controllers then you'll probably like this controller.
