Notes
Memphis Slim, aka Peter Chapman, ranks among the greatest blues piano players of all time. That along with his unique voice sets him apart from most of his contemporaries. He has been very prolific, but one of his hardest to find albums is Legend of the Blues, Vol. 1, originally issued on the Jubilee label in 1967. We finally bring this hard to find collector's item to the CD world, taken from the master tapes.
