    I ordered this item to replace my still functioning but dry rotted Klipsch 2.1 woofer. As soon as I connected the speaker and turned it on, the system made a strange noise and blew out. Everything relating to the woofer was dead. I then reconnected my old speaker as a test. It didn’t work anymore either. So, I’m pretty sure that my newly purchased speaker works, but the system powering it is shot. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rich
