Synopsis
The sequel to Beyond the Gathering Storm is the touching story of one woman's journey from heartbreak to joy., Christine and her older brother, Henry, grew up in the Delaney family as loved and nurtured as if they had been born to Elizabeth and Wynn. Now adults and facing life decisions, they both have come through major milestones in their journeys toward a strong, mature faith of their own. Henry has found the love of his life, and he and Amber are planning their wedding. But Christine has borne the pain and loss of a broken relationship, and the healing of her heart and emotions has just begun. The war in Europe creates further uncertainties for her, and she feels deeply perplexed as she tries to decide what she should do next. The ""call of the North"" and the warm memories of her childhood tug at her, making one young man's interest in her doubly attractive--but it also fills her with uncertainty.
