I had to modify the bracket as the mounting holes were off by quite a bit which meant the camera doesn't sit exactly where the OEM camera sat, thus the guidelines on the camera while backing up are off as well. The picture on the camera is good and I was glad to see the male connector fit the OEM female, but I've told my daughter to ignore the grid lines because she will hit something if she uses them.

But the connector was not compatible with my 2012 cx9 so I had to cut it and use the connector from the oem camera I was replacing to make it work. Also the angle of the mounting bracket is off so it points a bit high.
