I did not have a problem with the clips. There is almost enough to fill an adult's head. I ordered a pack the middle of June and I am ordering another pack now. To fill the head, I added some kinky coil clips from Better Length Hair. These were not the same curl, with the better length ones being a tighter curl. It worked with Aussie but I like uniformity in curls. Tease your roots for no leave-out.
