    Installation directions are needed for this item as the OEM light does not easily come out. I had to use a trim removal tool with some force to get the light module to snap out. The replacement module took some adjusting of the plug with a small screwdriver of the contacts to be able to connect and light up. This was NOT the same as replacing a bulb. The installation resulted in a much better lit trunk and should have been OEM.
