With the LEGO (10193) Castle Medieval Market Village, LEGO fans follow instructions to recreate both the excitement of Medieval castles and soldiers and a snapshot of what ordinary life was like during those times. With over 1,600 pieces, two separate buildings, and an assortment of minifigures, you are able to play along and make up your own story about life in this particular village from that era. Be the creator of your own kingdom with this thrilling box set, which enables you to construct two different two-story buildings and to take a trip thousands of years back in time as part of the Castle series. With all of the pieces and accessories included in this set, you set the scene and imagine a number of different scenarios. With a classic Medieval design, this LEGO Castle Medieval Market Village set recreates this historic world with authenticity. First, there’s a building comprised of mostly yellow bricks that is equipped with stables, a working area for the blacksmith and his home upstairs. There’s also a blue brick building that’s designed in a classic European style and features a welcoming tavern on the first floor and a cozy bedroom on the second floor. Both of these buildings have a tremendous amount of detail and come with different pieces and accessories that help them come to life. In the blacksmith’s building, you get to play around with stable gates that open and close, a water powered trip hammer that the blacksmith uses to forge swords, and carrots for feeding the accompanying horse. Both buildings are designed with a hinge system that makes it easy to explore inside, paying attention to all the thrilling details like fireplaces, pictures on the walls, dressing tables and windows that actually work. Both of the buildings that serve as the centerpiece of the LEGO (10193) Castle Medieval Market Village are a lot of fun for builders to construct because of the surprising amount of features included. The entire town comes to life with things like a food stand and a cart, as well as cows, chickens, a rooster and a duck. There are also a number of human inhabitants in this ancient town, with eight minifigures included in the set. Of course, there’s the blacksmith working hard with his impressive water-wheel driven hammer, as well as two soldiers, two male peasants, two female peasants and a little boy. With all of these figures and accessories, you can build something that looks like a village from exciting Medieval times. As the peasants search for food, the knights patrol the town and the little boy chases the animals, suddenly this little sliver of history starts to come alive.
