On it's explosive debut album, Static-X takes the energizing effect of techno, the aggressiveness of a guitar-laden frenzy and the moody overtones of the goth/industrial underground and molds them into what the band calls "rhythmic trance core." Dark, melodic and unrelenting, Static-X is a rave-like assault on the senses sharpened by a new-metal edge. "Bled for Days" appeared on the 1998 Bride of Chucky soundtrack album and "Push It" was heard on the Korn bonus CD Extra Values.
