Since its release date on November 23, 2004, "World of Warcraft" from Blizzard Entertainment has gone on to redefine the MMORPG genre. If you're looking to get into the action for the first time, you'll want the "World of Warcraft" Collector's Edition. This PC game will let you play up to level 60, which is over 100 hours of content. You'll also have access to almost every race and character class. In "World of Warcraft," the story takes place directly following the events of "Warcraft III." Players can choose a side, either the noble Alliance or the villainous Horde. You'll travel to over 30 zones in Azeroth, each with over 50 quests to complete. As an MMORPG, you'll play with thousands of other players at the same time. If you ever need assistance completing a quest, help is only a chat box away.You'll start out this gaming experience by choosing a character. You can select from historic "Warcraft" races such as humans, orcs, the undead, and elves. After selecting your skin color, hair, and facial features, you'll choose a class. Classes range from melee characters like the warrior to ranged fighters like the hunter. After that, the world is open to you. You'll have a variety of zones to choose from with quests ranging from collecting items to killing monsters. There is a main quest to follow that involves the battle against the Lich King. When you've completed all of the quests, you can try your hand at one of the game's many dungeons. These dungeons are designed for five players and feature scripted content and boss characters. This digital adventure is about more than just fighting as there are many collectibles in the world. You can select a pet to follow you from the hundreds available or find a stylish mount. The Collector's Edition of "WoW" is full of rare content. For starters, you'll get a copy of the game on both CD and DVD formats. You'll get to choose an exclusive in-game pet from three choices: a Zergling, a Panda Cub from Pandaria, or a Mini Diablo. Show off one of these pets in town to let others know that you're an owner of the "WoW" Collector Edition. You'll need help finding your way around when you're new, which is why Blizzard included a cloth map. This Collector's Edition cloth map even includes a metal clasp. A lot of work went into making a game as massive as "WoW," and this Collector's Edition lets you peek behind the curtain. The Collector's Edition Behind-the-Scenes DVD includes concept art, drawings, a manual, and commentary from Blizzard developers. The art of "World of Warcraft" consists of a 280-page book that includes beautiful illustrations in full color. The "WoW" soundtrack CD lets you listen to the game's tunes at any time. This Collector's Edition is an excellent introduction to this long-running title. The huge number of bonus items in this video game package makes it a must-own for newcomers, fans, and collectors.
