A full SMART test showed nonzero lifetime power_on & head_flying_hours, ironically higher than one of the openly refurbished drives I got for this array. I guess time will tell. Otherwise the seller shipped promptly & packaged it adequately. Not the worst deal if it had been listed correctly - tbh given the price I wasn't especially surprised

It has a lot of resistance when turning by hand and one spot where it feels like the bearing is binding. I don't believe the seller was necessarily at fault and I took to long to get it to a technician so that part is on me!
