It is the same smell that was on another item that I ordered. Even after washing you cannot get rid of it. It smells like an old women's perfume. The other garment I can't even wear because it is so strong so I will either throw it away or donate it. This shirt I will wash and keep my fingers crossed that if I soak it overnight in gain and Downy Unstopables work.
