"Jump Ultimate Stars" is a fighting game for your Nintendo DS which matches well-known characters like Koma Goku from Dragon Ball, Koma Luffy, and Koma Naruto against one another. Their mission battles allow you to compete to earn more Koma and unlock more battle characters and decks while delving into each individual character’s unique universe. Additional battle characters include Koma Kinnikuman, Koma Kenshiro, Koma Gintoki Sakata, Koma Ryotsu Kankichi, and Koma Seiya. If there has ever been a question as to whether or not Nintendo can do a handheld version of their innovative party fighting game, "Jump Ultimate Stars" is a shining testament. This is the official Japan release, and it's loaded with anime nostalgia. It's simple to play, but it has enough concept for those willing to explore the depths of it. The "Jump Ultimate Stars" controls use triple attack buttons, but they use a jump button is used rather than featuring a block button. Regarding attacks, there are three options: A basic attack, a slightly more advanced attack, and a devastating special, the latter being defined by the fullness of the specialty gauges. Each character in the cast utilizes attacks in ways unique to themselves, as in Yugi Mutou attacks using summoned beasts, Luffy using his elongated arms, or Ichigo and Zolo with their blades.On the subject of characters, "Jump Ultimate Stars" consists of hundreds. In regards to numbers, there are over 300 characters from 41 various sequences. The spectrum of the series available is incredibly satisfactory, highlighting legendary series like DB, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, HXH, and Dr. Slump. More modern series such as Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, One Piece, and Shaman King are present as well. While you do not have the opportunity to play all 300 characters, the idea of offering this many characters on a game console like the DS is astonishing.The one-player quest mode involves an epic journey to liberate the Jump Shonen Universe. The Universe finds itself under siege and it is up to the player to gather their friends and save your worlds. You begin with Luffy and Naruto and advance into different series, unearthing new perks. The combat is not simply a knockout battle; these are mission battles. This means you are fighting with a specific rule set. These range from being required to collect a number of medals or delivering a specific number of KOs, but each level has the potential to ask something completely different from you.Another polished attraction is the multiplayer aspect, with the chief appeal being Wi-Fi connection capabilities. No matter where you happen to be, it is possible to challenge up to three different people to battle anywhere in the world as long as there's an internet connection. "JUS" is one of the most popular WFC-supported games, so chances are excellent that you always have someone to play with.
