I didn't realize this until I received it and my wife pointed it out to me. Perhaps I overlooked it in the online description. I would not have purchased it if I had. Other than this, the item came in a well-packaged and new condition. I am neutral on the price, being that it is a soft material. The appearance is nice still.

I’m guessing this excellent seller chooses to sell customer returns as used rather then new. The ramp is very sturdy and, even the seller’s “new” price is great. The carpeted ramp is the ideal non-slip surface. The unfinished wood looks great. Our solid, senior, pittie would not use steps to get in our bed. Last night, she went up the ramp, with minimal coaxing and treats. This morning she went down the ramp on her own!
