Tried to open a case not to give a refund for a damaged card

I tried to reach out to you about the card and you never responded. I allowed for the return and I did open a case for the damage to the card, because you packaged it improperly when you returned it. (The card when I sent it was in perfect shape). The card you sent back, was hanging out of the top loader damaged when I opened the package at the post office in front of the clerk. Ebay has sided with me on this claim.
