Bought this for a 2021 Ram 2500 since Ram doesn't sell the unit on its own so would have been $1000 for a full mirror replacement. As others noted, the ring needs to be replaced in order to snap the mirror back back on. If you aren't handy, swapping the ring might not be for you as it required a lot of effort.
