Definitely works to at least some extent, because if the unit isn't powered up my radio's reception is terrible. The reception quality of the stations that used to be iffy has improved at least a bit, with less static and dropouts. However, I still can't reach these stations from my basement garage so it can't perform miracles. DAB performance untested because my DAB receiver currently doesn't work (separate issue). The amplifier seems to be worth the price paid in any case.
