This is not actually the Belmont Stakes of 1959, but the original labeling on the back of the photo would mislead most people. This is not the fault of the seller. I identify this as actually the Metropolitan handicap 1959. I am happy to have the photograph as I’ve been a lifelong fan of the racehorse Sword Dancer, and this was one of his most impressive wins. With confidence I would buy from the seller again.
