I used a small 4 inch riser underneath and a small C-clamp to hold it just in case it gets accidentently bumped. It has a black finish that pretty much just fades into the background. If you buy it you won't be dissapointed. I would advise you have a helper to get it set up though. Especcially when you start setting the monitors. Tighten brackets first!
