It’s my fault for not having inquired about previous washing habits. After about seven wash cycles that included baking soda and vinegar, the scent was neutralized and the shirt is clean and wearable. No real fault on the seller—everybody’s laundry habits are different, but when selling/buying clothing, it may help to know what things have been washed in. All aspects of the experience are fine.
