I decided to take a chance on ordering this Mandocello. Shipping speed was 10 days, far better than the expected 6-8 weeks. I'm quite satisfied with the instrument, it seems to be made well, and I was able to set it up to play well. Parts such as tuners, bridge, etc are on the cheaper side, not a surprise. After shipping, exchange rate, taxes, and duties it arrived at my door in Vancouver for almost exactly $1200 Canadian. Ouch on the exchange, but still half the price of a Gold Tone locally.
