Reliable & trusted seller. A brand new, 2000 reprint of the 1901 map. New reprints always being added, keep watching! Wiltshire is a huge county, Mere is NW of Shaftesbury. Historically on the A303, but bypassed before 2000. Mere is a town, even retains is castle mound, but many villages are larger. No railway, locals must like this isolation. I visited once, in 2013, like walking back in time. Alan Godfrey manages a (shorter than usual) history, capturing the fortunes/decline of town
