Unit item was brand new. I ordered this brand as a substitute for a Lionel brand. I don't believe Lionel ever made the 54" curve switch track. I was hoping that this RH switch and the LH switch would be a combined shipping package to save me needless double shipping costs. Didn't happen as either the "Seller" didn't request it for the "Buyer" or policy dictated that either Global/International Shipping didn't catch it. A very archaic business practice to happen in these competitive times.
