Instructions state that side brackets install with stereo provided bolts. My factory stereo & my new stereo did not come with the four M5X20 Phillips bolts I needed. A trip to hardware store cost $0.75. Kit harness not needed. Plug & Play even though some wire colors differ. Read many Smart Car owners who had wiring configuration issues because Smart had revised wiring harness pin locations & colors.

The only detail is that one of the tiny screws to tight the wire with bracket it was to short not tight if wire enough to make it work. I had a second delivery similar item with similar parts and use the bracket which worked better and made possible the final installation.
