This water neck was the third time is the charm for me as the prior two times I did it in the past six months started leaking right away. Maybe it is because the water pump housing on my 440 is made out of aluminum also, so with this water neck it is an aluminum to aluminum match instead of a steel or cast iron to aluminum match. It also comes with a nice thick gasket, so along with some Permatex, no leaks at all period
