I think it's something wrong with the whole unit. They say it was professionally installed on the wind deflector. I'm not saying this is wrong, but most likely this is the problem. Especially if on the windshield. If they read the instructions, it is recommended to install in center of vehicle mounted facing up. Creating a mushroom like field protecting both the interior & some of the exterior. We haven't had any response back, so we can only assume this is an installation error.

The only detail is that one of the tiny screws to tight the wire with bracket it was to short not tight if wire enough to make it work. I had a second delivery similar item with similar parts and use the bracket which worked better and made possible the final installation.
