I had guessed that the shoes were soiled slightly from the photo, but bought them anyway after a while, deciding that one day on the sidewalks of New York where I live would stain them immediately, They are fine shoes, very comfortable, and I thank the seller both for his (or her) efforts and for sending Wallabees into my life
