As when it’s plugged in the lights that make it glow at night are always on. This is because of the way the manufacture has made them. All I did was snipped the red loop wire that is for the light and linked them to the blue wire at the other end of the plug with an extra piece of wire. Now when the lights go on the car the plugs light up like the rest of the dash. But apart from that they work well.
