They were brand new and in good condition in the original packaging, and look to be of good quality. The color is as expected, and I am pleased by the value I received for the cost. I have not yet tried them out as I am waiting for a mattress pad and sheets ordered elsewhere, so I cannot address the question of comfort. I would say that I am pleased with my experience in purchasing from dwd1818.
