The ZyXEL MWR102 router is a versatile device that operates as a 150 Mbps portable router, as an access point, or as a Wi-Fi client bridge. Its small and lightweight, a requisite for extreme portability, but this ZyXEL Wireless Router does not sacrifice the quality of the performance. This compact portable router is 2.9-inch long, 2.3-wide, and 0.6-inch high, and it has enough space to support one 10/100 WAN port, one 10/100 LAN port, and one mini-USB port that ensures power when AC power access is not an option. This ZyXEL Wireless Router is 802.11n compliant to reach faster transfer rates, but it is still compatible with older 802.11b/g compliant devices, allowing any wired broadband connection to become a usable Internet connection for multiple portable devices. The security features of the ZyXEL MWR102 router include WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK support for encryption within the wireless network plus a SPI firewall, and NAT technology for VPN pass-through. This ZyXEL Wireless Router is a powerful device that fits in the palm of a hand or into a pocket for the owner to have an available reliable wireless connectivity solution all the time.
