LEGO Architecture Empire State Building. Completed in 1931 during the height of the Great Depression, the Empire State Building was the world's tallest building in the world until 1972 when the World Trade Center opened. Voted one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Empire Stat Building is an Art Deco skyscraper and is considered the symbol of American skyscrapers. This golden LEGO model, co-developed and designed by Adam Reed Tucker, celebrates the early age of skyscraper design.
