The OEM hardware includes a T nut that slots into accessories or the machine itself so it doesn't need to be held by a tool to tighten it. The ones included with these brackets is similar to a regular nut. So unless you have access to the nut they won't work. In my case they didn't work in the bed of my Can Am Maverick trail.
