It was shipped promptly after I ordered it. The shipping method may not be well known, but it was delivered on the very first day of seller's delivery window. The use of this new remote even cleared up a issue that is fairly common with the Marantz UD5005 - that of the disk drawer not always opening when the open button on the face is pushed. Using this remote, the disk drawer opens always.
