Kris at first glance I was very disappointed with the print. I realize that I should have ask about any existing damage, but there was nothing to suggest serious damage and from what I saw on eBay everything looked okay. The acid from old tape bled through the print thus damaging the original print. It is unfortunate but fortunately if the print is matted, the mat will cover the damage. There is also a spot down near the bottom that has come through and will be noticeable but I love the prints.

I did not even see the spots where the tape was on the print until after i finally got th4e mats off. Whoever I had frame that one made sure it was never going to move in the frame. It took me over 2 hours of very slow, careful handling to get it out of the frame. I love that print of Shoe as it shows his personality. We had lots of fun times over the years.

Kris, at first glance I was disappointed with the print. The crescent shaped discoloration in the left corner, is it from the glass being cracked in the past which let light in? It would help to know how the crescent shape came about. If you would tell me, I would appreciate knowing more about the crescent shape. I do like the print, and I am glad I bought it. Actually, I haven't found another such print. Thanks for your efforts, Jon

As for the print of Laffit I have no idea where that came from. I didn't notice it before i took it out of the frame. I have another print of Steve Cauthen on the same paper and it lost the color somewhat also. They were early prints and I don't remember any other prints with it. Laffit is riding Wavy Waves owned by Fred Hooper in that picture. She was a beautiful mare. i hope you liked the poster also. We trained Fly Till Dawn who is on the poster.
