My husband is thrilled to have this book but I was not so thrilled that pages 495-523 needed carefully cutting open along the top edge, where they were completely sealed together...however, this does prove that the book cannot possibly have been read in its entirety! It also shows that the book cannot have been thoroughly examined before dispatch! Luckily, I have worked with books for a large percentage of my working life, so it was not a problem for me to deal with it properly.
